The Sidamo coffee from Ethiopia is sourced from family-owned farms that are members of the Watadara Cooperative located in the Dara district of the Sidama region. The Watadara Cooperative joined the larger Sidamo Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union (SCFCU) in 2001 to help ensure a consistent supply of coffee from cooperatives across the Sidamo region. The SCFCU supports 46 cooperatives representing over 80,000 farmer members. This particular Sidamo coffee has a light, tea-like body with pronounced acidity and sweetness in the cup.
